I don´t get why people offer their characters for sale and calling them "comfort character - not easy to get" ... if this character is your "comfort" character why do you try to sell it? Do you call it "comfort" character to let other people know that the character is important to you just so they would offer more cash? That sucks, really. If it really is a "comfort" character you would not even think about selling it. .. cheap way to cheat. Sadly many people fall for this bullshit.

I guess it´s a term that was invented this year lol

A character you draw to make you feel good .. = why selling it if you have an emotional connection to it?

Humankind's logic will never cease to surprise me,it seems...
I mean, really?I'm not really into the whole "Selling character" thing in the first place to be honest (I'm really into creating characters/monsters/Creatures/etc to sell them afterwards (I could spend an hour explaining why I don't like that, but I guess none of us here have the time nor the energy to read through a 5 pages longs Open office presentation especially as a comment of a Status post,so i'mma spare you that)  or Buying something that has been made by someone else (I might wouldn't feel the same towards it as "It wasn't basically my idea" and all that stuff), even if exeption happens (I can't deny the fact I find some adoptables really interesting)
BUT HERE? THAT? I mean, you created something that you appreciate like heck, just to sell it afterwards for a bit more of money? What's the logic with that? It's like selling One's Main OC or InternetPersonna,It makes close to no-damn-sense!
(Well,we could still argue on the fact that basically artists makes theirs art to sell it afterwards,no matter how much they like it,but then again, copy and paste the reason I haven't made a 5 pages long presentation on previous' point and you'll understand why I won't make a 3 pages long presentation on that)

>I mean, you created something that you appreciate like heck, just to sell it afterwards for a bit more of money?
Isn't this how actually real life works? I mean if being an artist to earn money to survival. "real" artists (not the ones we are lol) like painters always appreciate every piece they do

Hum,yeah, maybe my phrasing wasn't the best way to say it,my bad on that one,I have nothin' about getting money from selling artworks, pieces, art stuff other creations in itself (I mean there's a whole business out there and i'm even sometimes being a client of it when it comes to buy Cosplay parts that has been crafted with [more or less] love),I mean,if we didn't had that,Art as we know it wouldn't be the damn same (maybe it wouldn't even be anymore)
The thing i'm not really into is selling out characters, that's what i wanted to say (It's not like I'm 100% against it or something,I can get people like that,it's just I have very mixed feelings with it for some reasons)
