lol There is one problem with that in real life about looking at each other in the eye while talking, staring too long is considered rude and might make people uncomfortable, then you have people with Autism, like me, who absolutely hate eye contact, sometimes we have to teach ourselves to look, but we hate doing it. o3o
Also I don't watch Anime, but they usually do that in flashbacks.
WHEN AN ANIME CHARACTER EXPLAINS SHIT IN THE MIDDLE OF A F***ING BATTLE WHILE THEIR FIGHTING.
God that annoys me. Like if you're going to talk while fighting, you're probably going to lose focus and die. When enemies fight there's no words exchanged, you just fight until one of you drops dead. I can see in the contest battles but in the life-or death battles, its just gets silly. I laugh so bad at the ones where the person just straight up reveals their weakness and battle strategy. That's just brilliant, now they know how to murder you!!
Enemy 1: "Oh whoa!! How'd you do that?"
Enemy 2:"Well you see here by making my body squirt boiling water, I'm temporarily weak to unsuspected attacks from behind!"
Enemy 1:"Sweet! Thanks man!" *calls back up*
Enemy 2:"Oh sh---YOU FIGHT WITH NO HONOR!!!!" *dead*
This is to imagine a thinking face. It shall look smarter if the explaining character closes his/her eyes during explaining as if their would recall the whole thing in their head one more time so they don't get it wrong..
