I'm not even sure if I wanna accept Kiara as canon because I have so many problems with SP (and 1/2...don't even get me started) XD I think "Fluffy" (the cub shown at the end of the first movie) exists. Whether Fluffy was a boy or a girl, Kopa or Kiara (or some other unknown cub), well...the world may never know! I personally think of the LKSNA books as published fan fiction (and I think that's how Disney views it too) I really don't like the Tale of Two Brothers story in those books. I don't buy for a minute that a water buffalo is the cause for Scar getting his scar. Nope. It's gotta be something deeper than that (and a buffalo would've done far more damage anyway) But I'm getting off topic...don't let me start ranting about LK stuff, I'll never shut up. As for Kopa himself...the fandom has turned him into an interesting character (and not just a lame ass Simba clone - seriously they could've been SO much more creative with his design...at least give him Nala's eye color) so I don't mind him. He can be a fun character if done right. I'm not sure I'll ever fully accept him as 100% canon but I rarely explore the fandom past the first movie much anyway. XD
