Shape based Races
Some dog breeds you know from earth are also common in Katinka´s universe.
Here are some of the breeds who have special bodyshapes and where sorted as a race because of it.
Chihuahua/s
Term for all very small creatures. Not just dogs.

Teckle/s
Term for usually small but very long dog bodies with short legs.

Whippet/s
Thin dog bodies with long legs and thin thorso.

Terrier/s
Small, cat sized dogs. Sometimes smaller, sometime a little bigger. They are pretty fast.

Pug/s
Bulgy dogs with flat faces.

Mastiff/s
Muscular and often bigger dogs. Smaller sizes are possible. Flat snouts are possible too.

Terrier sized dogs with long fur and fluffy flopping ears.

Crested/s

Coated
A coat of warm, long and fluffy fur grows on top of the body (on head and back maybe on shoulders an tail).

Feathered
Feathres grow on body.

Finned
Fins grow on body.

Ribbon Coat
Ribbons like membrans grow on body.

Sparkle
Sparkling body parts

Different wings possible. Some have feathered wings, some have membran wings.

Camouflager/s
Fur can grow on some parts of the body. Often on heads, legs, tail, butt or ears.
Other parts of the body are covered skin and camouflages the creature with light reflectings in different environments, depending on which class of comouflagers it is.
Same reflecting skin often is in ears and sclera!
The paw pads are usually a darker color of the rest of the skin color.

Creatures with skin that reflects like a water surface.
The surface can have any color.

Creatures with skin that looks like fire. Shines when light touches it.
Can have the usual fire colors yellow, orange, red, blue but also pink or purple.

Only one color patterns or one color in different shades.

At least three rainbow colors can show up on any part of their body / hair. Any shape possible.

Star Mark
Star markings can appear anywhere. If a star is on their forehead they can become a Saber Warrior (also known as Star Warrior) which means they can grow a horn out of their star.

Wing shaped marking on their fure. Mostly on their backs. Any kind of wing possible. Sometimes colored sometimes just lined.
